INTERHOTEL SANDANSKI

In 2011 we started our work for the first time in the region of Sandanski. Together with our colleagues from Maestro Park we worked on the arrangement of the inner yard around the pools of Interhotel Sandanski. The pictures of its condition before our intervention can tell more than words do. The green areas and pavements were reorganized, resting areas and playgrounds were arranged, columns of wrapped vegetation were created to serve as accents in the space which was otherwise dominated by the hotel building. At the request of the Contracting authority, the proposed low wall of gabions, separating the space from the entrance of the city park, was replaced by a high one to ensure the calm of the holidaymakers. To reduce the effect of the wall, we covered it with vegetation.
