As part of the Porsche Concept team (www.apc.bg), we developed a project for an office tower and underground parking lots for our client. The main method for presenting the building was to prepare a model. Modeling, when developing the concept for a building or surrounding space, in our work for both, is particularly important. It gives a view of the project, with unsuspected perspectives. The impact is incomparable, especially the possibility of real contact with the “thing” even at a conceptual level. Real light and shadow, entering into scale, give the designer and especially the client the opportunity to “play out” different solutions and approaches. The models that you will see here are sketchy, working, part of the search and finding of a solution, which is subsequently digitized and worked on. The materials are often different types of cardboard, paper, wood, natural plants and mosses, and of course, we also use “modern” polyurethanes in different forms.
